A wonderful place in the heart of the Bollenstreek where everyone can move about freely. Speaking of the heart: at the heart of our business stands a spectacular 120-year-old wood-burning stove. The ideal spot for a delicious cup of coffee and chocolate cake with your mom or a perfect cocktail with friends. What do you think of our chef’s burger from the charcoal oven? So delicious, you'll want to lick your fingers! Children have a great time in our spacious play area, while their parents enjoy a good glass of wine by the fireplace.

For 140 years,
has been a gathering place for
—both locals and travelers alike

Since 1881

Hotel Villa Flora has been in existence since 1881, when it was built as a coffeehouse and guesthouse. The first owner of Villa Flora was Mr. Pieter Staats. He built the property in 1881 for 6,000 guilders. In 1903, the building—then a coffeehouse with a residence and a tea pavilion called Café Flora—was sold to the van Dril family for 13,000 guilders. In 1953, the building was modernized. The wooden conservatory was demolished, and the building was given its current stone facade, so that it is no longer apparent that the building consists of three separate sections.

The Dril family owned it for three generations, until 2013, when the de Mon family took over the complex—which consists of a hotel, restaurant, and event spaces. Nick and Renate de Mon have revamped the interior and updated the look and feel to reflect modern tastes. Together with the team, they continue to organize many celebrations and parties for local guests to this day. The restaurant—a place where travelers and locals have traditionally come together—is the delightful, vibrant heart of Villa Flora. The de Mon family passionately leads the enthusiastic team, which—with the friendliness so highly valued throughout the region—is there for its guests day and night.
We would love to welcome you into our hearts and into the heart of our lovely Villa Flora.
